Sessions have been selected,  t-shirts have been ordered, and travel has been booked. Phase2 is ready for BadCamp! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be a core sponsor at BadCamp this year, with Phase2 participating throughout the camp including trainings, summits, and sessions.

This year BadCamp has made the radical decision to accept all proposed sessions. As a Drupal camp organizer, I stand in awe and wonderment of the BadCamp organizing team. Aside from the logistical admiration I have for this strategy, I think giving all sessions and presenters an equal playing field is awesome, and I am excited to see some of the more alternative sessions that are scheduled.

With so many sessions to choose from, it will be hard to choose what sessions to attend. Here's a quick look at Phase2 trainings, summits, and sessions for your consideration:

Open Atrium Training, 9:00AM-5:00PM

Join Open Atrium tech lead Mike Potter, for a hands on Open Atrium 2.0 training to kick off BadCamp 2013!

Drupal Performance And Scalability With The Dream Team, 9:00AM-5:00PM

Join Steven Merrill and the rest of the performance dream team for a deep dive into performance and scalability and learn how to run fast sites for a large volume of users.

Friday

Product Summit, 9:00AM-5:00PM

This year the product summit will focus on how distributions can be used truly as "distribution channels" for other services and products. Join Mike Potter at the summit in his discussion of how Open Atrium can be used in this way.

Non-profit Summit, 9:00AM-5:00PM

Join Molly Byrnes at the non-profit summit in her breakout session focusing on how to collaborate and leverage community to take on common digital challenges.

Higher-Ed Summit, 9:00AM-5:00PM

Mike Potter will be chatting about Features in the Higher-Ed summit and what best practices you can leverage to get the most out of this module.

Molly Byrnes will be teaching and inspiring BadCamp with her presentation on how we can all use open source technology to help the "original" grassroots movement of indigenous people.

Nicole Lind and Tim Cosgrove will help explain the full range of project managers’ responsibilities and the different styles of project management and how developers can best leverage their project managers.

Extending Open Atrium 2 with Drupal, 2:00PM-2:45PM

Mike Potter will be discussing new functionality in Open Atrium 2 and learn how to easily create a plugin to extend the Open Atrium functionality.

Appifying San Mateo County with OpenPublic, 2:00PM-2:45PM

You won't want to miss this panel discussion with representatives from San Mateo County and the Phase2 project team, Felcia Haynes, Shawn Mole, and Erik Summerfield in their discussion of how they built an OpenPublic platform with an Apps strategy for the county of San Mateo.

Down, Set, Hike! Video integration on Pac-12 Networks, 3:00PM-3:45PM

Join Lance M. Geng of Pac-12 Networks and Joshua Turton, Phase2 senior developer, to hear how we worked together to build a Drupal platform that manages all of the Pac-12 Networks disparate assets, and seamlessly integrate them onto their site, creating the ultimate Pac-12 fan experience.

Exploring Drupal 8: Laying out the vision of a geospatial platform on the next version of Drupal, 3:00PM-3:45PM
