Tree House creates high traffic, dynamic sites for big-name clients like Lifetime Networks, Mansueto Ventures, CBS and Sony. Things move fast here, and standards for both code and service are high. We've got a virtual team of top-notch talent, and we want to add a new Project Manager to the group.

We're looking for an individual with amazing communication skills who can take ownership of a project, understand and maintain expectations of both the client and development team, and get the job completed on time and within budget.
Part of your time will be spent acting as a bridge between our clients and our engineers. You'll manage our projects from their conception and our initial discussions with clients through their execution, and finally on to their delivery. You will be responsible for making sure our clients get a product that achieves their real-world goals and that our engineers get the work done on time and within budget. In addition to interfacing with clients and developers, you'll also take a lead role in the conceptualization of the project and will bring in the right players at the right time to maximize efficiency.
In addition to great people and communications skills, you'll need a solid understanding of website technology and what can be done. Further you will be pushed to think outside of the box to come up with new solutions to our clients' problems.
Above all else, we're looking for someone who has mastered the art of communication and enjoys thinking creatively about how to handle anything that comes their way both individually and more importantly by understanding the strengths of the team behind them.
- Excellent communication skills in general. You'll need to be able to explain details about technological tools to people who aren't tech savvy, and take non-technical comments back and explain them in a technical way to engineers.

Ideally this position is located in or near New York City, but we will consider virtual if you can convince us to do so. The salary is competitive and includes health insurance, vacation, and paid sick/personal time.
