Here it comes again! DrupalCon Denver is looming on the horizon, and we are looking forward to a packed calendar for our team!
This year, Treehouse Agency is very psyched to be the Games sponsor. Take a break, have some fun, and smile for the camera! We'll be running a Flickr feed of photos featuring Drupalistas facing off over air hockey, foosball, and more! Tag your photos with drupalgamesdenver to get them included!
DrupalCon Denver kicks off with a full day of Drupal training, and Steven Merrill joins David Strauss, Nate Haug, and Mark Sonnabaum to deliver the sold-out Drupal Performance and Scalability course.
We've got three sessions on the roster this year, along with a 5-minute Drupal Means Business lightning talk. Here's the who, when, and what:
Nicole Lind takes you through the risks of switching to Drupal from another CMS, with an emphasis on cultural issues and establishing a risk assessment model. Check out I'm Leaving You: The Risks of Dumping Your Old CMS for Drupal and How to Manage Them at 5:00pm Tuesday in room 603.
On Wednesday, it's a double header! At 1:00pm, join Steven Merrill and Brian McMurray a look behind the scenes and under the hood with the Zagat.com Case Study in room 603. Next, hustle over to room 403 to learn how Drupal 7 lets you streamline your theming and development in View Modes: The Many Faces of Your Content with Tim Cosgrove at 2:15.
At Thursday's Drupal Means Business event, Nicole Lind has five minutes to tell you just what happened when a half-dozen leading agencies got together to launch a massive new Drupal platform for Energy.gov. Join Nicole and a host of presenters from other top agencies for a whirlwind of rapid-fire case studies in the Higher Education, Non-Profit, Publishing, NGO and Government sectors starting at 11:45am.
It's not a DrupalCon without the Birds of a Feather sessions. So far, we've got three on the schedule.
On Wednesday, at 2:15pm, Nicole Lind leads a the Running Multiple Concurrent Drupal Projects BoF in Room 206. (I've seen her camp session on this subject, it's really good stuff!)
We've got a short-run, limited edition tshirt on the presses, and you can ONLY get it at our booth (#419) on Wednesday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
Finally, to cap off the week, join a whole bunch of our devs at Friday's Sprints in areas including Workflow-based Modules, Distributions, and Core Office Hours.
