OpenPublic Beta 2 is Here: Come Join the Effort!

We are proud to announce the Beta 2 release of OpenPublic, available now for download on OPenPublicapp.com, and at drupal.org. In OpenPublic Beta 2, we've focused on one main goal: to make contribution easier for all members of the community.

Besides updating all modules and fixing the major issues identified in Beta (thank you for your testing!), we've released all of the code on drupal.org, including the Apps module and specifications for building apps.

All module code has been checked into their respective Drupal.Org Projects. All other code specific to OpenPublic, including make files, is now included on the OpenPublic Project Page. We've also knocked out a lot of bugs, including the menus reverting to their default states, and the challenges with adding custom logos to sites.

In addition this release, we've also been working very hard on updating documentation at Community.OpenPublicapp.com. Please check it out and contribute back or let us know what's missing. We intend to keep adding documentation as we continue work on the next release. Finally, Its time to get registered on the community site and enjoy the benefit of helping shape the growth of OpenPublic! By registering, you will get early access to new release information, so that you are never out of the loop. Also, while you're on the community site, make sure to let us know what features that you're interested in. Thanks for participating! And if you're around this week at DrupalCon, come visit the Phase2 booth, or join us at the OpenPublic BOF.
