New to the Open Atrium Community: Features Directory

This week, we've been announcing several improvements that make it easier to connect as a community around distributions and products in Drupal. We showed you how people can host and support their distributions on drupal.org; we introduced a new wiki-based platform for product documentation; and today, we'd like to introduce you to the Open Atrium Features Directory.

We have heard a lot of community members ask the same question: "how can we find all of the Features that people build to customize and improve Open Atrium?" There are certainly "features servers" out there that aggregate this code and make it available. So we didn't want to replace that. But community.openatrium.com is a great place for people to find everything ELSE related to Atrium -- documentation, issues, and discussion -- so we thought that would be a great place to expose all of the available features in one place. Today, you can find a directory of all available features for Atrium right here on the community.openatrium site. The directory does not host any features directly, but gives community members a place to find them, learn about them, rate them, and download them directly from their source.

Please help make this a robust place for finding features to extend Open Atrium. Make sure YOUR feature is in here, and if it's not, please add it. If it is, please be sure to update its description and information. And as always, tell us what you think!
