Working at Phase2, we have the unique perspective of seeing the digital landscape through the vantage point of our clients, some of the most influential brands across industries. What we’re seeing is that consumer behavior is rapidly changing with new content consumption channels.
Websites are no longer the digital front door of each brand. Audiences are expecting to engage with an organization from anywhere, at anytime, on any device. As these interactions are refined by leading brands, audiences are also expecting that their brand experience is personalized and seamless across digital and offline channels.
In response to the changing digital landscape, leading brands are developing omni-channel digital strategies, developing platforms that can accommodate tools, channels and interactions like conversational interfaces, machine learning, IoT, virtual reality, augmented reality, personalization engines and marketing automation.
The Drupal community is moving swiftly to respond to these consumer behaviors as well. Drupal 8 allows for a decoupled framework that accommodates flexible frontend architectures. Here at Phase2, we have been working with our clients to develop the right architecture strategies in Drupal 8 to respond to changing consumer behaviors and plan for emerging channels.
Enter Decoupled Developer Days!
We are thrilled to help organize and sponsor the upcoming first edition of Decoupled Developer Days August 19th-20th. This event is specifically focused on decoupled architectures and the front end frameworks that can be leveraged with Drupal to deliver best in class digital experiences.
Who Should Attend?
Decoupled Developer Days is a small developer-focused conference for architects, developers, and business people involved in implementing decoupled Drupal architectures. The 2017 edition is scheduled for August 19–20, 2017 at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, in New York City.
Our event mission is threefold:
To share best practices in sessions
To engage with difficult shared problems in discussions and develop shared potential solutions
To build open-source projects to respond the these challenges during event sprints
To that end, August 19th will be a single track of sessions, and August 20th will be a full day of sprints on open sourced decoupled Drupal projects.
