The Institute for a Competitive Workforce (ICW) is the education and workforce nonprofit affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. ICW promotes the rigorous educational standards and effective job training systems needed to preserve the strength of America's greatest economic resource, its workforce. Phase2 worked with ICW to redevelop and redesign their web site using Drupal. A collaborative set of design and requirements sessions with ICW’s staff resulted in a great new visual presence that adheres to the Chamber’s style guide while branding a unique design for ICW.
Phase2 designed an attractive set of web site templates that are intuitive to navigate, provided Information architecture consulting, graphic design, CMS training for ICW's staff, and offered optional maintenance and support services to maintain, update and enhance the site.
One highlight of the site is the implementation of a visually appealing Homepage Carousel with rotating imagery. Moreover, Phase2 was able to ingest Twitter and RSS feeds, embed existing Flash Applications, integrate 3rd party blogs with ease.
