Director, Product Development

Irakli is Director of Product Development at Phase2 Technology. His main responsibility is development of packaged, turn-key solutions using open-source technologies and cutting-edge semantic APIs.

Irakli has been an avid open-source advocate and contributor for over a decade. His work experience is a diverse mix that includes work with large multi-nationals, publicly traded companies, as well as small startups.

Irakli's two passions are integrating and designing APIs and fast cars. At least one of them does not get him in trouble.

Irakli has an undergraduate degree in Physics and holds Master of Business Administration degree from the Smith School of Business, UMCP.

World Bank Open API Data: Now in Google Search Results

Earlier this year we blogged about the launch of a new Open API, which Phase2 built for The World Bank. The Open API allows third-party developers and organizations to freely query World Bank's largest dataset containing world economic and business indicators and create all kinds of interesting mash-ups.

Today Google announced the addition of the API data to its search results.
