Clator takes a look at the emerging trend of Fan Editing and applies the principals of Open Source and Compulsory Licensing to suggest a new legal structure and profit model for Hollywood.
Clator has been developing and maintaining web sites since 1995, boasting expertise in project management, user-centered design, interface development, community administration and audio/video production. As Director of Operations, Clator is focused on analyzing and improving internal management processes and communications.
Before joining Phase2, Clator was an independent Web consultant to the federal government and the NFL. Prior to that, Clator worked for MicroStrategy, Inc. as the Manager of Interfaces and Services for Strategy.com, and for the Newspaper Association of America, where in addition to being the association's first Webmaster, he trained and mentored New Media Minority Fellowship recipients from newspapers around the nation in how to build and maintain community web sites. Clator also worked as a consultant for Maden Tech Consulting and Olympus Group, serving local and federal government clients as well as commercial and not-for-profit agencies.
Clator holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University.
