Senior Developer

Tobby Hagler recently joined Phase2 Technology as a senior developer. He has extensive experience with Drupal-based web sites. His skills range from interface development, to application layer engineering, to system architecture. He focuses on scale, security, maintainability, extensibility, and a good overall user experience.

Previously, Tobby spent more than ten years involved in the development of news and publishing sites at the Morris Publishing Group, most recently as the Manager of Web Development. While at Morris, he received numerous awards for his work.

Most folks realize what the "cascading" part of Cascading Style Sheets means for styling Web pages. However, some of the inner workings of CSS specificity are lost on many of them. Especially when it comes to those maddening CSS selectors that should be taking effect, but aren't.
