View Alias module upgraded for Drupal6

Eric :

Last week I rolled out the reworked View Alias module for Drupal 6.

Some people have been asking when this would be upgraded but I struggled with how to approach it. Views Alias is a utility and is really just an add-on to pathauto to cover view display paths. So when first looking into doing a new version, I quickly discovered that it would not be a two hour task. if I wanted to do it right, I was going to have to dig into views a little deeper and get the pathauto integration I tried before, but failed with the first version.

With this release, I'm making use of the pathauto API which brings all the url alias tasks to a central location. I was even able to get alias deletion for free by hooking into what pathauto already does. For now, I realeased a beta, since I need to add in recurring updates for when terms change, but until then, please enjoy the module and let me know how to make it better.
