Online Communities

Create communities that transcend organizational structure and traditional duties and affinities.

The recent social networking phenonemon has given way to the emergence of a new model of individual Internet use we like to call "community collaboration". For individuals this may mean participation in social networking tools like Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn and Twitter, but for organizations the potential to harness collaboration requires something more unique.

Starting around 2007 our clients began to ask for better ways to share internal information, create communities that trancend organizational structure and traditional duties and affinities. What was needed was new ways to create sites dedicated to organizing collaborative projects beyond conventional arrangements. We have created online communities that bring distributed employees and remote workers together in a virtual online environment. We have also used similar models to create exclusive online work groups.

Phase2 experts can help craft both the strategy and the need for a unique community using platforms we maintain based upon open source software to hit the ground running.
