Challenge

Future US had a number of pressing needs driving this overall CMS platform re-architecture project. First, their various sites were beginning to look somewhat outdated, requiring new, eye-catching designs. Second, the backend management process for each website was a somewhat complicated, non-streamlined set of tasks requiring specialized technical expertise. Also, to aide in boosting content deployment turnaround time and website management across all the sites, the technical management staff for Future US needed a standard CMS tool that could be deployed across numerous web servers within the overall corporate infrastructure.

Solution

To satisfy all these requirements, Phase2 and HZDG worked together to develop a standard, deployable platform that included a customized CMS offering with unique website templates. The combination of custom site design with CMS configuration capabilities enables each of Future's 20+ websites to take on a unique look and feel. Throughout the organization, Future's IT department can rest assured that individuals tasked with managing the website will all be trained to used the same CMS and can follow the same procedures for site management. In each of Future's website instances, their IT department can now install and/or upgrade the packaged CMS solution with relative ease.
