Moving Forward with Open Atrium 2.0 November 1, 2012 in Development, Drupal, Phase2 5 Comments on this post. Stefan Chirila We’re really looking forward to see OA2 in action … Keep us updated on how the development goes. OA is a very fine and useful product. http://www.facebook.com/KoldSnapz Travis Johnston Please keep in mind of contributed modules that are currently being used to expand the basics of OA. For instance, CT Plus. I am not sure if those maintainers will ever port, since they are usually MIA in the support boards, but it would be great to incorporate the contrib mods into core OA with improvements. I am having some trouble now actually trying to figure out if I want to stick with OA for my company intranet or to move to Drupal Commons. The bid deciding factors are what are the OA2 core features, how do they compare to previous contrib mods, how will the migration progress go between D6 OA1 and D7 OA2 and when? superha Open Atrium 2.0 theme is ugly , please add Open Atrium 1 theme Mike Potter Sorry you find it ugly. The theme in OA2 is based upon the very popular Bootstrap CSS Framework which most people find clean and modern. However, in the Alpha release it is also meant to be a base-theme for site building and is not the final “end user” theme planned for OA2. In addition, the community is already working on the OA2 version of the Ginkgo theme from OA1 at drupal.org/projects/ginkgo (also linked on the OpenAtrium project page). http://www.mohammad8282.com Mohammad Al-Sammarai Hello everyone, I’m working in a University running Open Atrium 1 as the intranet platform for the college, we are planning to migrate from Open Atrium 1 to Open Atrium 2. our main concern is that is it possible to migrate the users, posts (with linked contents) and ideally pages (notebooks) ? what are the possible methods to achieve that, we are willing to try any method or whether there is a plug-in to achieve this task. Thank you in advance for your support.
